Nujoom Kids ("the app") is a free, ad-free educational app for children, developed by the Nujoom Kids team. We care deeply about children's privacy. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with data.
The short version
Nujoom Kids does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. It contains no ads, no analytics or tracking, no third-party SDKs, and no in-app purchases. The app works completely offline and requests no device permissions.
What information we collect
None. The app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any device identifier. The optional "hero name" a child can type is stored only on your own device (local storage) to personalise the experience and remember progress; it never leaves the device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Internet & network
The app declares no internet permission and makes no network connections. All lessons, games, images, and audio are bundled inside the app and run locally.
Third parties
There are no third-party services, ad networks, or analytics in the app. No data is shared with anyone because no data is collected.
Children's privacy
Nujoom Kids is designed for children and is intended to be safe for them. Because we collect no personal data and show no ads, the app aligns with the Google Play Families policy and children's privacy laws (such as COPPA and GDPR-K). There is no behavioural advertising and no data profiling.
Data security & retention
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to secure on a server or retain. Local progress data lives on the device and can be removed at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same URL.
